This is a supplement and requires a complete hardware starter set 114025190 or 114025200.

T-Varia Engine management MPI consists of a practical set-up and the associated E-learning. The practical set-up contains the most important components of a Multi Point Injection system (MPI). The sensors and actuators of the MPI system are dealt with one by one in this practical.

Through the preparatory theory and practical assignments the student learns:

• To recognise the sensors and actuators in a vehicle and in an electrical diagram.
• The operation of the sensors and actuators of the MPI system.
• The checks of the sensors and actuators of the MPI system.
• To perform measurements with the aid of the multimeter and oscilloscope.
• To analyse the measurements from the multimeter and oscilloscope.
• To use live data for checking the sensor/actuator values.
• To draw conclusions from the obtained measurement data.
