This is a supplement and requires a complete hardware starter set 114025180 or 114025200.

T-Varia Engine management FSI consists of a practical set-up and the associated E-learning. The practical set-up contains the most important parts of a direct petrol injection system (FSI). The sensors and actuators of the FSI system are handled one by one in this practical.

Through the preparatory theory and practical assignments the student learns:

• To identify the sensors and actuators in a vehicle and in an electrical diagram.
• The operation of the sensors and actuators in the FSI system.
• The sensor and actuator checks of the FSI system.
• To perform measurements using the multimeter and oscilloscope.
• To analyse measured results from the multimeter and oscilloscope.
• To use Live data for checking the sensor/actuator values.
• To draw conclusions from the obtained measurement data.
